JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for general nursing activities in the Endovascular Operating Room. Administration of Conscious (Moderate) Sedation under the direct supervision of the operating physician following AORN guidelines. In its entirety, the perioperative nurse is the registered nurse who, using the nursing process, designs, coordinates, and delivers care to meet the identified needs of patients whose protective reflexes or self-care abilities are potentially compromised because they are having operative or other invasive procedures. Establishes, ensures, and supervises surgical team members and procedures to maintain quality services and efficient operations. Ensure case readiness by confirming that supplies, equipment, instruments, and implants are available as per surgical procedure and doctor preferences. Ensure Required: 1. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. 2. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. 3. BLS & ACLS certification. 4. One (1) year of related experience preferred in related field (Cath Lab, IR) 5.
