Job description

Summary: Through the leadership of the BH Director of Clinical Pharmacy Programs, this Baystate Health leadership position is primarily responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of the Clinical Pharmacy Program and Services for the Acute Care Pharmacy Department. This includes direct oversight of the Transitions of Care Program and the Acute Care Clinical Pharmacy Program. This oversight shall include the development of pharmacy services that are aligned with organizational goals and the advancement of services to support a cost-effective service model. The Pharmacy Clinical Manager will have oversight for all the Care Team and Specialist Model at Baystate Medical Center. This position will lead and serve on appropriate committees as necessary to coordinate and maintain the clinical pharmacy services. The manager is expected to work with the leadership team to develop goals that are aligned with departmental, service line and organizational strategy. The Pharmacy Clinical Manager will coordinate activities with our learner models and the Pharmacy Manager of Education and Training.
