Join Vopak as a Business Development Manager - Battery Energy Storage ! Around the world, we connect the supply of and demand for vital products and resources, effectively helping the world flow forward. Vopak is entering new geographies to expand its Battery Energy Storage presence globally. As a Business Development Manager - Battery Energy Storage , you are a crucial member of the team responsible for driving this expansion and developing large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will be responsible for originating new business and leading complex dealmaking processes from first contact to a signed contract. Your primary goal is to originate new projects and act as a savvy dealmaker, build long-term partnerships to successfully bring BESS projects to life. Your focus will be on the successful integration of battery projects to unlock critical flexibility in power grids, supporting grid stability and integration of intermittent renewable generated power. You will be based in our headquarters in Rotterdam. Regular international travel is an important part of the role to identify opportunities and develop a local network.
