Environmental & Sustainability Engineer

Job description

Reporting to the Director, Environmental Sustainability , the Environmental Sustainability Engineer will provide technical leadership and data-driven insight to support Cavendish Farms’ sustainability goals. This role blends engineering analysis, modelling, regulatory expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to drive meaningful improvements across water, energy, greenhouse gas emissions, waste reduction, electrification, and emerging sustainability technologies . You will work closely with site teams, engineers, and external partners to transform opportunities into actionable, high-impact sustainability initiatives. Wages - 75K-95K annually. - Identify, evaluate, and model environmental sustainability opportunities across operations, including water, energy, GHG emissions, waste, electrification, and emerging technologies - Work closely with site teams to analyze site‑level data , develop and manage environmental KPIs , and ensure accurate, real‑time sustainability tracking - Provide technical engineering analysis for sustainability initiatives, including: - Heat recovery - Energy efficiency projects - Biogas utilization - Methane management - Sustainability impacts of capital...
