The position itself: As an Automation Engineer, you will work with all phases of plant service such as troubleshooting, I/O testing, production start-up, SAT and training of customers' employees. As an electrical engineering specialist, you will also be responsible for changes in PLC/SCADA programs and minor panel conversions, just as troubleshooting is a natural part of your area of responsibility.
