Job description

Key Position Functions: - Assist Production and Operations in processing and maintaining the production order system and all office related functions. - Creation and maintenance of manufacturing production orders and files. - Maintenance of manufacturing employee training files. - Investigate and correct production heat sheet discrepancies. - Replenish and maintain inventory of office supplies and consumables. - Support the Production team’s 5S by being a part of the audit team. - Verify and review production heat sheets ensuring that all heat numbers listed matched the parts used. - Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP would be an asset. - Closing of production orders including matching with office folder and amalgamation of critical documents. - Processing, maintenance, receiving and completion of farm-out purchase orders. - Assist in the preparation of customer related document packages. - Material issue on production orders as required. - Verify and maintain daily production order bookings. - Contact outside vendors for the maintenance of office equipment. - Assist with other manufacturing and operations clerical functions.
