WI-Monroe Clinic Hospital Worker Type: Regular Job Summary: Acts as a liaison between guests, staff and patients to respond to patient and guest information inquiries. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Receives, screens, routes and/or responds to all incoming inquiries for information, directions or concerns. - Receives guest suggestions and complaints and escalates through proper channels. - Provides patient information in compliance with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and organizational privacy policies. - Identifies and report issues of safety and maintenance. - Assists in improving patient satisfaction. Anticipates family needs and resolves issues before they become major source of concern. - Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience EXPERIENCE: - No experience required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. - Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. - Frequent use of vision and depth percepti...
