InnovaCare Physician Management Services, LLC Job Summary: An Advanced Practice Provider (APP), such as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or a Physician Assistant (PA) function as a healthcare provider, working under the supervision of assigned as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and Florida Board of Medicine Statue. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team, APP is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic medical conditions in an urgent care setting within in their defined scope of practice. He/she demonstrates a high degree of clinical expertise in working with patients with acute and chronic illnesses or acute injuries commonly encountered in both adult and geriatric patient population. He/she is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, health promotion and care coordination for patients including via telemedicine. The APP demonstrates an advanced level of medical clinical knowledge, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism, and systems-based practice.
