Job description

ICON is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Structural Engineer to work at the intersection of structural design and testing, playing a key role in the validation and regulatory acceptance of ICON's breakthrough 3D-printed structural systems and materials. Under the leadership of the Regulatory Affairs Program Manager, this position is responsible for primary tactical execution of validation and acceptance efforts that will systematically transform cutting-edge concepts into validated, approved solutions that unlock new markets and revenue opportunities. This role is based out of our Austin, TX campus, directly contributing to ICON's technology advancement and competitive positioning. RESPONSIBILITIES : - Generate and execute comprehensive test plans and specimen designs that meet structural testing objectives and regulatory requirements for ICON's 3D printed systems under the direction of the program or project manager. - Support the coordination and design of test logistics including lifting procedures, shipping methods, and test fixture and setup requirements to ensure successful testing - Generate detailed documentation for print processes such as technical drawings, instr...
