Medical Center: Operating Room- Full-Time, Night Shift Job Summary: The Supervisor, Patient Care-OR, works collaboratively with the nursing leadership team to provide clinical, administrative, financial and human resource management of the operating room in a Magnet Designated tertiary academic Medical Center with level one trauma designation. Demonstrates comprehensive nursing knowledge applicable to the specialty practice of perioperative nursing. Influences cutting-edge and innovative surgical practices by adhering to the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN) standards of practice and organization and department policies and procedures. Achieves and maintains credible collegial working relationships with perianesthesia and perioperative areas, surgeons' offices, schedulers, physicians/surgeons and staff. Contributes to the "team oriented" environment by consistently demonstrating cooperative, constructive, and problem-solving interaction with direct report employees and those that are not direct reports.
