Dental Assistant / Dental Assistant in Training Department: Dental: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Newport - Dental: Reporting To: Vice President of Dental Services Description: We're looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team and help deliver safe, high-quality dental care across clinic-based and community/mobile settings. You'll work directly alongside dentists and hygienists, play a key role in patient experience, and ensure our clinical environments meet the highest standards of safety and compliance. What You'll Do: - Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures - Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating provider needs and keeping patients comfortable - Perform authorized reversible intraoral procedures under appropriate dentist supervision per RIDOH regulations - Sterilize and process instruments and equipment per infection control standards (OSHA/CDC) - Prepare and expose dental radiographs and ensure images are ready for diagnosis - Monitor, store, and handle clinical supplies and hazardous materials safely - Travel to community and mobile clinic sites to support outreach dental services - Main...
