I. Job Summary This individual will serve as the lead trader for WMRE’s natural gas portfolio, while providing support for the monetization of WMRE’s D3 RIN portfolio. They will be recognized across the organization for their expertise with experience across natural gas, pipeline capacity and environmental attributes. Prior experience in developing new business, managing client relationships and managing Natural Gas commodity portfolios. Understands financial risk management, physical natural gas pipeline scheduling and logistics as well as legal/ contractual requirements when executing transactions. Able and willing to sell/market/trade on their own. The role works closely with plant operations, pipeline operators, risk and settlements, and environmental teams. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee a trading book to generate revenue and manage risk across the company’s 24 natural gas production sites across the US and Canada Monitor pipeline notices, outages, and constraints to adjust positions accordingly Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and con...
