Biologist / Environmental Scientist 🟢 Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Biologist / Environmental Scientist to support environmental planning, habitat restoration, biological monitoring, and compliance projects throughout California and surrounding regions. Responsibilities: - Conduct biological field surveys for special-status plant and animal species - Perform habitat assessments, nesting bird surveys, invasive species assessments, and biological monitoring - Assist with wetland delineations and environmental compliance activities - Gather and analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports - Support CEQA/NEPA documentation and permitting efforts - Deliver environmental compliance training to field staff - Coordinate with project teams, agencies, and field personnel Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Botany, Environmental Science, or related field - 5+ years of biological field survey and reporting experience Strong knowledge of: - CEQA / NEPA - Federal & California ESA - MBTA - Clean Water Act - Fish & Game Code - Section 404 permitting - Experience identifying s...
