DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the reception of merchandise and unload freight - To provide a professional approach to work concerning areas such as attitude, dependability, and appearance - Ordering merchandise and ensuring that orders are with approved suppliers and approved by Manager - Supervise staff to maintain the standards and daily operation of the department - Provide information, assistance, and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements, and expectations of the consumer - Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department and supporting the training process of new hires Adhere to site cleanliness standards: Display high performance service standards: - To be familiar with and adhere to Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures - Complete all opening and closing procedures, including accurate and timely cash ‑ up duties. - Follow strict cash ‑ handling protocols, ensuring cash is always secured and never left unattended.
