Job Title: Physician Assistant Job Status: Part-time (up to 28 hours) Job Summary: Under the general supervision of a physician, the Physician Assistant uses specialized knowledge in nursing along with skills obtained through experience and/or formal training to provide general medical care and treatment to patients under multiple disciplines. Performs physical examinations, orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic tests, records physical findings and formulates diagnoses. Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment according to patient’s health care needs. Collaborates with program supervisor and administration to ensure goals are achieved and program requirements are met while achieving and maintaining the highest quality of care and service.
