BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Carpenter - Skilled Tradesman is an experienced and trainable laborer skilled in carpentry in multiple areas of residential and commercial rebuilding, with a demonstrated track record in insurance restoration work. Effective communication skills are essential during the reconstruction process. Carpenters reports directly to the Project Manager. Candidates are expected to possess a reliable truck and tools to execute tasks to a high standard. Hourly Pay Range is: $21.00 - $36.00 PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - General carpentry - residential and commercial - Demolition - Tile Work - Hanging cabinets - Trim carpentry-baseboards - Door hanging and taping - Painting - Light electrical/plumbing - Rough framing consisting of re-framing homes and setting trusses - Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship and polite communication - Comply with safety, quality & procedural standards SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: - This position has no direct reports EDUCATION: - Direct experience working as a skilled carpenter is required - Knowledge of carpentry and use of carpentry related hand and power tools - Self-motivated...
