Job description

Job Overview Work in conjunction with the Environmental Health & Safety Manager to assist in the development and implementation of plans and policies to prevent employee injuries and environmental defects while ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. Work cross functionally with all aspects and levels of the Hubbell organization to drive EHS standards and best practices. A Day In The Life: · Conduct and document various safety inspections on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis as needed to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local EHS regulations as well as internal policies, guidelines, and best practices. · Respond to incidents throughout the facility for immediate reporting and investigation of all EHS related events. · Assist with accident, near miss, and first-aid investigations and incidents alongside the appropriate supervisor and team to identify the root cause(s) and develop corrective actions to eliminate the hazard(s). · Assist with the preparation, implementation, and sustainability of Hubbell EHS programs, policies and initiatives. · Proactively develop and administer those programs to reduce work-related injuries, accidents...
