Description NORTHWEST NAZARENE UNIVERSITY: DEPARTMENT OF ATHLETICS: Graduate Assistant - Athletics Facilities & Events Description of Position: Northwest Nazarene University Northwest Nazarene University is accepting applications for the position of Athletics Facilities & Events Graduate Assistant. This is a year around, part-time, temporary position that reports to the Director of Facilities & Events for Athletics. Essential Functions: *This position works frequent nights and weekends throughout the academic year. - Assists with event and game set-up and tear-down and management of officials, student-workers, event staff, media, and guests. - Assists in coordinating, scheduling, and supervising all athletics facilities for practices, athletic contests, internal University use and external rentals. - Assists with maintaining NNU athletics facilities in good working order, including identifying needed repairs and maintenance, submitting and following through on work orders, and acting as a liaison with the NNU facilities contractor. - Coordinates with the Athletic operations team on game-day atmosphere, including in-game promotions and increasing game attendance by students, faculty...
