Infrastructure Engineer - Networks Permanent: Grade C - £35,412 - £44,075 per annum Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: Hybrid: Birmingham City Council are seeking a motivated Networks Infrastructure Engineer to join their Network Professionals team working on a hybrid basis. A skilled engineer is required to join a busy team that supports the Birmingham City Council (BCC) network and is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the network to meet business needs. The position offers the opportunity to work with leading-edge network technologies from top-tier vendors, including Cisco, Checkpoint, F5, and Smoothwall, in a large WAN that spans over 200 sites. The infrastructure supports over 10,000 users who provide key services to over a million citizens in the city.
