Description Summary: The Maritime Policy Coordinator supports the development and advancement of CLIA’s positions on maritime legislative, regulatory, and technical matters. In consultation with CLIA Members and Maritime Policy leadership, this role helps develop, present, and negotiate industry positions on issues related to environmental protection, security, medical and public health, passenger and crew facilitation, and other policy matters affecting the global cruise industry. The Maritime Policy Coordinator works closely with CLIA members, government officials, and industry stakeholders to support regulatory engagement at the international, regional, federal, and state levels. Essential Job Functions: - In collaboration with members of the Maritime Policy team, develops, coordinates, and presents CLIA policy positions to international, regional, national, and state regulatory and rule-making bodies, industry associations, and other external stakeholders. - Coordinates internal and external efforts on relevant maritime policy matters with CLIA Members, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders. - Participates in and assists with the facilitation and management of...
