Chiller Technician

Job description

We're seeking a Chiller Technician to join one of our client's mechanical service teams supporting large commercial and industrial facilities. Our client is a well-established contractor with a strong field workforce, deep bench of senior technicians, and a reputation for handling some of the most complex central plant work in the region. Their service division runs lean, pays well, and keeps their people busy year-round. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnose, repair, and maintain centrifugal, screw, and absorption chillers across commercial and industrial sites Service and troubleshoot supporting plant equipment including motors, pumps, valves, controls, and cooling towers Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, eddy current testing coordination, and seasonal start-ups and shutdowns Respond to emergency service calls during rotating on-call shifts and resolve issues on first visit when possible Document service work, refrigerant usage, and equipment condition through the company's work order system QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of hands-on experience servicing equipment 10 tons and larger Journeyman certification required: EPA Universal certification required: Background in central plant op...
