Position Summary Intern will perform a variety of essential maintenance and upkeep tasks to enhance public park areas and ensure high-quality visitor experience at Clearwater Lake. Location: Piedmont, MO: Schedule: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026 Key Duties and Responsibilities: Daily tasks will involve interacting with visitors and staff to provide a variety of maintenance tasks and assisting journeyman staff in trades. Duties include: - Providing ground maintenance to include weeding, raking, and cleaning public areas. - Assist staff with repairing and upkeep of park facilities such as trails, fences, and picnic tables. - Assist staff with repairing and maintenance of various infrastructure needs and components. - Assist in painting new lumber and other material that has been installed because of repair work. - Responsible for maintenance of equipment, for safe operation of power equipment and hand tools, and adhering to all safety procedures. - Responsible for cleaning and organizing work areas and tools.
