Job Title: Sterile Processing Supervisor Department: Sterile Processing Department Location: Rochester General Hospital Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours shifts, Rotated weekends/holidays 0700-1630 Position Summary: This is a working supervisor position reporting to the manager of the Sterile Processing Center (SPC). Responsibilities include planning, organizing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of SPC, the care, preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments, equipment and supplies. Serves as a key contact and resource for Operating Room questions and issues. Ensures adherence to The Joint Commission (TJC) and State Board of Health regulations. Supervises daily activities of assigned staff.
