Assistant Operator - Bag Machine (Night Shift)

Job description

Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly Pay: $19 per hour Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:30 PM until 4 AM. Overtime sometimes available on Fridays and Saturdays What You’ll Do: As a Bag Machine Assistant, you’ll support the machine operator and production team to keep equipment running efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include: - Assisting with machine setup by preparing tools, loading materials, and adjusting machine settings as directed by the primary operator - Supplying raw materials and components to the bag machine to maintain steady production flow - Monitoring machine operations and alerting the operator or supervisor to any performance issues or malfunctions - Assisting with routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating equipment, and replacing minor components - Performing minor adjustments or troubleshooting under the guidance of the operator or maintenance team - Filling in temporarily on machine operation during shift transitions or when needed - Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area by removing waste materials and keeping production areas orderly - Following all safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)...
