Postbaccalaureate Fellow in Experimental or Computational Biophysics

Description The Department of Chemistry at Dartmouth College invites applications for a Postbaccalaureate Fellow (PBF), at the rank of postgraduate research associate, in the area(s) of experimental biophysics or computational biophysics working with Professor Paul Robustelli. The fellow will work in an interdisciplinary research group on projects that integrate experimental and computational approaches to characterize the binding mechanisms of small molecules that target highly dynamic intrinsically disordered proteins at atomistic resolution. Applicants interested in working in experimental biophysics should have research experience in protein biochemistry and/or structural/biophysical characterization of proteins. Applicants interested in working in computational biophysics should have experience implementing and writing code in Python and research experience with computational methods in chemistry or biophysics (such as molecular dynamics simulations, molecular docking), or research experience applying mathematical, machine learning or AI approaches for analyzing high dimensional datasets.
