POSITION SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Representative, Federal provides experienced sales support to assigned Federal accounts. This role provides reactive phone support, e-mail sales support, and engages in proactive business development efforts to grow Government Sales. This position is primarily responsible for assisting with sales, updating Federal pipeline, driving interactions, and monitoring assigned email box. This role supports assigned Federal accounts, working in conjunction with the outside sales team to drive new business and meet established sales quotas. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Reviews bid documentation and collaborates with Vertiv personnel to get opportunity quoted. - Collaborates with manager and field sales to identify end users and Vertiv partners that can be targeted with phone and email sales outreach” - Reviews pending deal registrations and works with the field team to approve or deny request. - Works to close opportunities assigned to the Inside Sales Representative and/or their assigned accounts. - Strategic sales support to outside sales by providing sales and technical trainings. - Informs accounts on current promos, new product launches, and Vertiv Partner Prog...
