Description The Orthopedic Clinic Surgery Center is a growing, state-of-the-art, Ambulatory Surgery Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Our team of ten Surgeons, ten Mid-Level Providers and our dynamic clinical team are dedicated to providing compassionate and cutting-edge orthopedic care. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced Medical Billing/AR Specialist. This is not a remote position. POSITION EXPECTATIONS: As an Medical Billing/AR Specialist you will be responsible for collecting accurate payments and finding resolutions to outstanding client Payor account balances. . Other responsibilities of this position include: - Maintaining a working knowledge and understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codes - Utilizing the Medicare Direct Data Entry system to identify and resolve any claims that have been Returned to Provider - Making necessary corrections to account - Entering EOB correspondence from insurance companies - Entering and following up with insurance companies request for medical records - Providing follow up on accounts until they are resolved - Reviewing and processing insurance requests for refunds - Coding issues are researched for correct reimbursement accordi...
