Seasonal Maintenance Assistants Department of Public Works: The Town of Windsor, CT is seeking hardworking, dedicated individuals to assist town crews in the upkeep and maintenance of Town buildings, parks and roadways. Normal hours of work are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Compensation is $20 hourly. The Position: Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with paving, patching streets, and painting. Our ideal candidate will have: - Basic knowledge of the principles of building and grounds maintenance; - Basic skill in operating hand tools and small machinery; - Excellent customer service skills; - Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
