Atlantic Health is seeking a Per Diem Environmental Aide I (Housekeeping) for the Environmental Services Department at Overlook Medical Center. Required hours are: 7:30AM - 3:30PM , including every other weekend and on-call. Starting rate $21.21/hr . This position is eligible for the Atlantic Health System #teenhiring initiative (specific shifts) Requirements: - General cleaning, empty trash, high/low dusting, mop floors, sanitize all furniture inpatient rooms, clean commode, clean bathrooms and discard debris, remove soiled linen and replace with fresh linen in patient rooms. - EVS Aide will also need to work at Union Campus. - Position includes cleaning of bodily fluids. - HS Diploma or GED/Equivalent required or will obtain within 1 year of employment. - To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English. - Solid work history a must. - Need to meet the fit testing requirement. - Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. - Must be 16 or older (prior to hire, must complete NJA300 Combined Certification Form/Working Papers). - If 16 or 17 years-old, valid working papers required.
