PC Pump Technician

Job description

Essential Job Responsibilities: - Prepare product for testing; identifying proper components needed; - Assemble pumps as per customer order and/or direction from Senior Technician/Shop Foreman; - Perform pump tear down and inspection; - Complete testing and prepare testing report; - Ensure testing meets specified requirements; - Operate a lathe; - Use of overhead crane, skid steer, bobcat to move product/material as required; - Paint and stamp stators as per MO requirements; - Grind rotors when welds are complete; - Actively contribute to lean, quality and safety initiatives; - Adhering to a schedule set forth by Foreman, including on-call duties; - Load/Unload and secure product on delivery trucks; - Verify truck load to ensure conformance with shipping documents; - General housekeeping; vehicle, yard and facility maintenance; - Other duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements (Minimum Education and Experience): - High school diploma or equivalent considered an asset; - 3+ year’s experience in same or similar role; - Overhead crane, skid steer, bobcat experience considered an asset; - CNC experience considered an asset.
