This is a role where you’ll make a real and lasting impact, supporting customers to enjoy their homes, sustain their tenancies, and feel part of a thriving community. 12 month FTC / secondment for internal candidates | 37 hours per week | Monday–Friday Location: This role will cover West Suffolk including Bury Newmarket, Haverhill, Mildenhall. Travel to other eastern operational areas will also be required. Due to the nature of this role you will be regularly on the road, so a company vehicle will be provided. Role and responsibilities: As a Housing Officer, you play a key role in delivering a proactive and supportive tenancy management service that enables customers to enjoy their homes and sustain their tenancies. You work closely with tenants to understand their needs, offering tailored support in areas such as safeguarding, hoarding, mental health, and property condition concerns. You also assist your Housing Manager in delivering the organisation’s Housing Made Simple vision by ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and procedures.
