When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives. 32 hours 11p-7:30 a.m., with every other weekend commitment and a holiday rotation. Duties/Responsibilities: o Direct and continuous observation of patient at a distance no greater than arm’s length from patient. o Participates in patient rounding as and when directed by the Registered Nurse o Ensures environmental safety for patient o Answers call lights and ensures patient care issues are directed to the Registered Nurse o Restocking department supplies and precautions stations o Transports patients within the department and to in-hospital locations as needed. o Clean patient equipment following the designated process o Completes patient safety sitter competency o Completes all required documentation for patient care o Communicates any and all changes in patient behavior to the Registered Nurse o Involved as directed with quality improvement studies and activities specific to the unit. o Considers specific cultural beliefs and practices when caring for patients.
