Take charge of routine and preventive maintenance that keeps facilities safe, functional, and dependable! Be You. Perform routine and preventive maintenance in the repair and maintenance of buildings, facilities and equipment within assigned areas of Duke University Hospital and Medical Center. Work Arrangement – Onsite: DEPARTMENTAL PREFERENCES: Experience/Training in a healthcare setting is preferred. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Training - High school diploma or general education degree (GED). OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE. Experience – Three (3) to four (4) years minimum experience required either in a specific trade or in general building maintenance and repair. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Valid N.C. Driver's license and a driving history acceptable under the guidelines of the Safe Driving Policy. Be Bold. Work Performed: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
