Maintenance Associate Independence Village ANkeny: Position Summary: Part-Time, 9am-3pm: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair duties. This position requires the ability to work different shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours outdoors in different weather conditions. Teamwork with the ability to work within different departments and with other staff is necessary to be successful. Required Experience for Maintenance Associate: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Previous maintenance experience preferred. - Must possess good handyman skills and good working knowledge of plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills. - Familiarity with common tools. - Familiarity with common repair techniques. - Must have good organizational skills and a good working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical skills. - Must be able to perform general maintenance duties such as plumbing, carpentry, furniture, electrical and appliance repairs.
