Job Details: Pay: $19.85/hr - $1.50 shift differential Hours: 2nd Shift 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm or upon completion of assigned work External Requirement: Six months of accumulative forklift experience (or similar powered industrial truck) Rehire Consideration: Max of two previous Tyson Employments. 90 days (3 months) waiting period. Summary: This position is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the CAS Forklift throughout the production day. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Remove cages from semi for slaughter Place on dumping rollers: Remove emptied cages and return to semi Handle birds according to departmental Animal Welfare Standards Responsible for daily pre-trip inspection of forklift and minor repairs throughout production day Qualifications: Must be able to successfully complete fork lift drivers training Ability to operate forklift efficiently, within safety guidelines, in all weather conditions Ability to work safely and effectively around moving machinery Ability to perform a daily safety inspection of the equipment and record data Basic maintenance skills required: Must adhere to CAS Department Animal Welfare Standards and practices Willingness to work o...
