It's often a starting point for a career in automotive repair. ✅ Typical Responsibilities Oil Changes – Drain and replace engine oil and oil filters. Fluid Checks & Top-offs – Transmission, coolant, brake, power steering, and windshield washer fluids. Tire Rotations – Rotating tires to promote even wear. Air Filter Replacements – Engine and cabin air filters. Inspect Belts & Hoses – Look for visible wear or damage. Chassis Lubrication – Lubricate suspension and steering systems if needed. Basic Safety Inspections – Check brakes, lights, battery, and other basic components.
