Job description

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: - Performs electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, plumbing, and instrumentation and controls maintenance work to maintain facility equipment, utilities, building, and related structures ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Completes projects with minimal guidance while minimizing equipment down time and costs - Implements, maintains, and manages a facility maintenance management system including preventive maintenance, work orders, work logs, and spare parts inventory - Troubleshoots and repairs equipment and building - Manages facility fabrication shop - Installs new equipment and modifies existing equipment - Operates lifts - Researches and orders supplies, parts, and tools as needed to complete work orders - Manages building alarm system - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follows compliance of facility safety, health, and environmental regulations, rules, and codes SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: - Able to perform installation and repairs of industrial electrical circuits - Competent in interpreting and using schematics, diagrams, blueprints, technical handouts, and drawings to perform installation, operation, maintenance,...
