Base Pay This role has a minimum base pay from $15.80 per hour with higher starting pay available based on experience. Your Work Matters: This is your chance to help launch something brand new. As an Outdoor Designer, you’ll design with both creativity and technical know-how, take the lead in growing sales, build relationships with homeowners and pros, and shepherd projects from first idea to final product. You’ll sell with expertise, design with purpose, and help define how customers experience the outdoors with Floor & Decor. Your Day Consists Of: Driving sales by connecting with homeowners, contractors, and landscapers to uncover outdoor-living needs and project opportunities. Leading customer consultations - interpreting site sketches, recommending materials, and creating tailored project solutions. Developing design plans through hand sketches or CAD tools including AutoCAD and SketchUp. This includes conceptual layouts, detailed construction documents, and specifications.
