Location: Murphysboro, IL: Shift: Days Time Type: Full-Time Facility/Clinic Name: St. Joseph Memorial Hospital Position Summary: - Responsible for care and management of patients with wounds/ostomies Education: - Associate Degree RN Licenses and Certification: - IL licensed RN - BLS Experience and Skills: - Technical Experience: 2 years RN; Wound Care Experience not required, but preferred. Role Specific Responsibilities: - Provides case management to a group of patients completing specific assessments according to evidence based practice/ protocols, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments and patient/caregiver education related to wound and/or ostomy care/treatment. - Provides efficient and effective care in collaboration with the physician and is able to manage a number of patients at the same time - Collaborates with other health care providers, Supervisors, Managers, Physicians, and Directors, regarding department and patient needs.
