GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Float Program Manager for the Community Resource Program and Home Youth Services Sheltering departments will be responsible for administering programming aimed at providing a safe, warm place with vital services for the area's homeless population. The person in this position will provide direct supervision of program staff, oversee project operations, and develop program policies for 24/7 shelters. This position will monitor multiple grants allocated to CRP and HYS by community partners. This position requires the ability to work days, nights, weekends and/or holidays. Schedule: 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - Two or more years of social services experience and a minimum of 1 year of managing or coordinating in a social service field. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be accepted. - A preference will be given to those with shelter experience, and experience managing/coordinating programs working with vulnerable or at-risk populations, including people experiencing homelessness or at-ri...
