What You'll Do As a Forensic Interviewer you will work with the Multi-Disciplinary Team investigators to conduct forensic interviews on children ages 3-17 and vulnerable adults with allegations of sexual or physical abuse, felony neglect or witness to a violent crime. Your Responsibilities Will Include: - Provide forensic interviews when there is an allegation of abuse to ensure safety of the child and assess for needed referrals. - Receive intakes, schedule, and conduct forensic interviews. - Work closely with the Multidisciplinary Team while evaluating children in order to ensure the safety of the child, while giving each member access to the information that is needed to fulfill their professional role and to ensure that their informational need needs are met. - Meet with MDT members after the forensic interview to discuss the interview outcome and make the appropriate recommendations. - Communicate and provide written reports of interviews to the proper investigative agencies within a timely manner. - Provide fact and/or expert witness testimony in court when requested for prosecution and defense when necessary. - Conducting and documenting follow-up services for clients served...
