Job Description Union: Yes: Bargaining Unit/Local: International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 96 Rate Classification: Grade 8- $44.24 per hour, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement Number of Positions Available: 1: Position Summary: Washington Gas is currently hiring for a Systems Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the company’s Radio Frequency (RF) communications systems—including land mobile radio, microwave, broadband, telemetry, CAD, and other wireless networks. You’ll install and repair a wide range of wireless equipment, diagnose issues, and ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently. You may also direct the work of junior technicians and perform other electronic-related tasks as needed. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that helps keep our communication systems reliable and our operations running smoothly.
