Diesel Mechanic Schedule: Second shift, starting at 2:00 p.m., working 10-11 hours a day, 50-60 hours a week. Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday’s. Pay: $22 to $32 per hour, based on experience. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Monroe, LA . This role is responsible for advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy diesel equipment within our fleet. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to high quality workmanship and safety. Key Responsibilities: - Perform advanced engine and exhaust diagnostics including DPF systems for MACK and Cummins - Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems and electrical and wiring issues - Diagnose and service air brake systems including Bendix and Meritor - Perform suspension and steering diagnostics and repairs on multiple system types - Diagnose and repair both automatic and manual transmissions - Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed - Maintain organization of tools, workspace, and shop housekeeping - Utilize McNeilus equipment knowledge when applicable - Complete required documentation, main...
