Opportunity PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Systems Engineer (Guam Defense System) to support our Huntsville, AL location. The GDS JPO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Systems Engineer to support the development of the Guam Defense System (GDS) Battle Manager and planner. The incumbent will serve as a key technical authority, responsible for synthesizing complex software designs and integrating functions across multiple government and industry teams. This role is central to the government's oversight of the battle manager and planner design, which utilizes Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) within a broader GDS system-of-systems digital environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a rapid development framework, providing critical engineering insight to assess performance, manage risk, and ensure the successful delivery of a critical national defense capability.
