Job Summary: The General Superintendent position is responsible for multiple active job sites providing daily management and leadership to crew foreman and crew members, keeping all stakeholders involved in the progress of jobs and reinforcing a world class safety culture. Minimum Qualifications: 1. High School diploma or GED equivalent. 2. 2-4 years in a post-secondary program with construction or engineering emphasis. 3. Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record. Preferred Qualifications: 1. BA/BS degree in construction, engineering, business or related field. 2. 5-10 years' experience managing multiple construction crews. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1. Safety - In partnership with the Safety Director, implement and enforce safety policy and procedures. Complete USA’s prior to start of jobs and update through course of jobs as needed. Attend yearly CPR/Trench Safety/Confined Space training; monthly management safety meetings and tailgate safety meetings providing additional information or emphasis on topic focus.
