Job description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Health & Safety Officer (SHSO) to support residential earthmoving and environmental remediation projects in Jackson, California and surrounding communities. The SHSO will serve as the on-site safety lead, responsible for implementing, enforcing, and continuously improving all health and safety programs associated with residential hazardous material excavation and site restoration activities. This role requires strong field presence, with the majority of time spent actively monitoring work areas, coaching crews, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and environmental safety regulations. The SHSO will support safe execution of residential yard excavations, contaminated soil removal, transportation, and disposal operations.
