This position takes orders over the phone, enters orders into the POS system, processes third party delivery orders, expedites orders coming out of the kitchen, takes payment from guests, and hands off the orders to delivery drivers and Guests. The person in this role must be friendly, upbeat and helpful, in order to make a positive first impression on the Guest, while controlling the flow of the orders coming in, and going out. An important part of this position is to maintain contact with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure that all orders are processed accurately, and in a timely fashion. Although this can be an entry-level position, in certain locations previous experience in a similar role may be required because the position is crucial to making sure orders are packaged accurately.
