Union: USW Local 700: Hourly Rate: $23.77 Shift:12 Hour Swing shift (6-6) Libbey’s Furnace Tender position is responsible for maintaining good glass quality & color, while maximizing furnace fuel efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Monitor furnace operations, change setpoints, obtain glass samples, use oxygen-gas analyzer, take optical temperature readings. - Adjust and clean burners, unplug cullet chutes, replace expendable refractories. - Operate colorant forehearths, maintain colorant frit feeders.
