Job Summary/Basic Function: This position provides leadership for Foundation Accounting operations by establishing and implementing accounting procedures, coordinating financial policies, and overseeing the Foundation Accounting team. The Assistant Financial Controller is responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements, managing the annual audit process, and directing the preparation of state, federal, and out-of-state tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The role drives continuous improvement in accounting processes and internal controls, and collaborates with Foundation units to coordinate financial data collection, provide guidance, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
