Reimagine What’s Possible: Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. a world-leading manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Operations Technician for its Convent, Louisiana SMR facility. The Convent, LA SMR H₂ facility currently consists of one Steam Methane Reformer (SMR) and associated equipment used to produce high‑purity hydrogen, as well as a Steam Turbine Generator that provides power for the facility. The hydrogen is compressed and delivered through the Gulf Coast hydrogen pipeline, supplying customers from New Orleans to Galveston Bay. The facility operates on a 24/7 basis and is supported by plant operators, technical staff, and support personnel to ensure the safe, reliable production and delivery of products to our customers.
